The Bloc is a trendy and urban burger joint that draws inspiration from the vibrant and artistic world of graffiti and street culture. It aims to offer not only delicious gourmet burgers, Parme and Patty’s but also an immersive dining experience where customers can feel the energy and creativity of the streets.
The challenge for this project was to create a bold and edgy brand identity for The Bloc that embraces the aesthetics of the streets. The design should appeal to the target audience, reflect the restaurant’s urban vibe, and generate curiosity and excitement among potential customers. It should be versatile enough to be applied to various touch points, including signage, menus, packaging, and social media.
The main source of inspiration for this project was the bustling energy of urban landscapes and the expressive typography found in graffiti art. Our goal was to craft a logo that truly embodies the spirit of The Bloc, ensuring it is dynamic and visually striking. To achieve this, we integrated graffiti-style elements, bold typography, and vibrant colours that exude the energetic and vibrant nature of an urban environment.
While we wanted to maintain the edgy street aesthetics, we opted for a slightly more simplified approach compared to the typical graffiti style designs.
